On this page, you will find information on all Standard and Invitational tournaments LUMI-CON will be hosting for this year’s event!

Our console gaming aims to satisfy your tournament needs for the weekend!

SFV Tourney banner



  • Game version: US PlayStation 4
  • Game Settings: Versus Mode, 99 Seconds, 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games, No Handicap
  • Legacy Controller Mode is banned.
  • Training Stage, Skies of Honor, Flamenco Tavern, and Kanzuki Beach stage are not tournament legal.



SSB4 Tourney Final



  • The tournament will begin with 4 player Free For All single elimination rounds until there are 8 players remaining.
  • All games will be played on the default settings, unless otherwise specified, below.
  • All macros available via the in-game controller configuration menu are allowed.
  • Hardware programmable input entry, rapid-fire, or other hardware assisted mechanisms are strictly forbidden.
  • Accidentally pausing the game at any time during the fight will force you to forfeit the round.
  • Any player using “Random Select” to pick their character, must “Random Select” again if they win the match, provided that there is no way to pick a certain character in the random box.
  • Nintendo 3DS, 2DS, or WiiU gamepad as gamepads are not allowed.
  • Game version: US Nintendo WiiU
  • Game Settings: 2 Stock, 6 Minutes, Custom Moves Off, Items Off, Equipment Off, Handicap Off, Pause Off, Damage Ratio 1.0x, 2/3 Games. Free For All rounds will have the same rules but last 10 minutes.
  • Allowed Controllers: Nintendo Gamecube controller, Wii U Pro controller (battery removed method with USB), and Wii Remote variation (player MUST remove battery upon completion of set or will be disqualified)
  • Mii Fighters On (1-1-1-1 Default Guest Miis)
  • Amiibo’s are banned.
  • Stages: Battlefield [Dream Land 64], Final Destination [Ω Midgar, Ω Suzaku Castle and Ω Wily Castle], Lylat Cruise, Smashville, Town & City
  • First stage is decided by (Rock Paper Scissors) best of 1. Winner may choose to either strike a stage first or select a port first. Stages are struck in a P1-P2-P2-P1 order. Free For All round stages will be randomly decided by judges unless players can agree on one.
  • Following stages decided by winner striking one stage from all stages and then loser choosing.
  • Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects a character.
  • You may not pick the last stage you have previously won on during the set unless mutually agreed to.
  • You may not play on a stage that is not on the available stages list. This will result in a double disqualification.
  • If a game ends with a self-destruct move, the results screen will determine the winner.
  • Sudden Death with tied percentage/stock will result in a 1 stock/3 minutes playoff match.
  • There will be no loading anything on to the tournament consoles.


Tekken 7 Tourney banner



  • Game version: US PlayStation 4
  • Game Settings:  2/3 Games, 60 Seconds
  •  the match will be random stage select.
  • There will be no customizing colors, names or items at any time before or during a tournament match. Any player that does so will be given a loss.






 Weekend/Game room pass holder entry fees are $5 per tournament. All fees collected will be used towards the pot of each title listed with LUMI-CON.

Tournament Fees are waived for all VIP/FOUNDER Pass holders!

All First Place winners will receive a custom medallion to signify their victories achieved in the tournament won as well as the pot collected for the game title(s).


As the LUMI-CON 2018 INVITATIONAL Champions conquered all challengers they have earned a tournament placeholder for 2019!

This means our champions have become your final boss and are automatically given a chance return and defend their game titles!

If a new Champion is crowned, They begin their reign to maintain their new title defense in 2020!

If a reigning champion successfully wins a title defense, Not only do they walk away with another medallion, they also get a VIP PASS for next year, the prize money and granted another automatic return for our biggest prize yet!

If a 2X returning  champion defends their title for a third consecutive year, they will be awarded a Special Medallion, Prize money, A LUMI-CON VIP PASS, and is named King/Queen of LUMI-CON GAMING receiving a complimentary two-night hotel stay courtesy of LUMI-CON!

1: First tournament win – Earns you a Champions Medallion, Prize money, LUMI-CON Weekend pass, and an invitation to defend your title the following year!

2: Defending your title successfully the next year – Earns another Champions Medallion, Prize money, A LUMI-CON VIP PASS, and an invitation to return a third time for a chance at our grand prize!

3: Defending your title and winning a 3rd time – Earns you a Grand Champions Medallion, Prize money, A LUMI-CON VIP PASS,  and (2) night Complimentary hotel stay at LUMI-CON for the following year!
