A message from the Convention Director of LUMI-CON

Hello Lumi-con guests,

To start off we hope everyone’s been able to remain safe and well during the past year’s events. As the pandemic swept the rug from under many events across the US we are just now looking at the possibility ourselves to stand again. We have been monitoring and discussing the possible scenarios of our event continuing safely this year as vaccination are being rolled out and there is a light at the end of this tunnel.

As we begin our journey into 2021’s convention season, the safety & health of guests, exhibitors, cast members and staff will always be our primary concern. We’ve seen hopeful data that by the end of the year this pandemic may be better controlled and possibly safe to return to events. We put our emphasis on possibly as we don’t know for sure what can happen from here until October. Regardless just like many of our other convention friends here in Florida we must push forward planning in good spirits and with hope in their hearts that we may be able to return a little slice or normal for you.

Our LUMI-CON staff members will continue to monitor the coronavirus pandemic and we should all persist in following CDC recommendations, news, and guidelines- there lo. However, we believe it is our responsibility to keep you updated currently, even though our event is months away. It is far too soon to consider ourselves safe from any of this, though we look to do the best we can; our hopes are high, but our outlook must remain realistic again.

As it looks currently we will be posting ticket information on March 25th 2021 as well as any booths available for exhibitors remaining. However, we will only be selling tickets at a very limited capacity so that we may properly adhere to social distancing guidelines if they are still in place come October.

If you have rolled over any exhibitor tables or tickets from 2020, you won’t need to do anything as we have all your info and are ready for your participation in our 2021 event.

As always your safety, health, and well being will always be considered a priority as we look forward to brightening your fall with a wonderful, fun filled and memorable Halloween event!

Stay safe everyone, we love you and keep shining!

Rudy Gomez
